“ We went for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon and the restaurant was pretty busy. We hadn't been there in YEARS, so we were excited to go back and check it out. The service was great. The server was very attentive and promptly took our order. The food came out quickly, and it just continued to come out as it was prepared. It's a small place, and I can imagine it gets cozy during lunch/dinner service, but that doesn't matter when you have great service and food. We'll be back! ”
“ My husband and I have been craving TGI for months, we generally go in at lunchtime for their bento boxes as they're less expensive. We were extremely satisfied and left happy. We were chatting while we enjoyed our miso soup and realized we've NEVER had a bad meal/experience at TGI! (12 years of patronage) Husband had chicken teriyaki and California roll bento, I had chicken katsu and spicy tuna roll. (I got double salad with no rice, as I'm not that big of a rice fan) Both came out with little wait time. Everything tasted fresh, clean, and hot. My only tiny gripe was that the wasabi had very little kick. Restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a little hole in the wall Japanese restaurant, this is the place! ”
“ A GF and I wanted to get sushi but somewhere that opened earlier than 5 pm. So I found TGI Sushi down the street from our regular place. This place was small but cozy. We got there right around 4:30 pm, so it wasn't busy yet. The service was great. It turns out that one of the servers recognized my friend from another restaurant, who was very attentive. Of course, we started off with sake and ordered garlic edamame and a couple of rolls. This is a new place of ours! ”
“ Been coming here for years. My old favorite was the baked scallop roll. My new favorite is the hamachi crudo and tartar. Last night I tried the sweet Suzy too and really enjoyed the sweet roll. They gave us all miso soup and a bowl of edemame to share. It's a small place but we had no issues getting a table on a Tuesday. We did a lot of to go during Covid. Never had an issues with wrong orders and even got a free item once. The yellowtail crudo had nice thick cuts and so much flavor. Agedashi tofu was just ok. It's pretty and they serve everything separate so you can put what you want in it. Not sure we would order it again. Not a cheap dinner for 4 but I always love coming here at a nice treat! ”
“ Came right before 12noon on a Thursday and was able to get seated quickly. Small restaurant with ~10 seats at the bar and a few tables around. They never filled up the seating, but some people came in for take out orders. The rolls are LARGE - we ordered 4 rolls for the 2 of us... and ended up canceling the last one because we were just too full and couldn't even finish the 3 we had. The sushi chef seemed to know our tummy abilities better than us... so great on his part for letting us know to let him know when we were ready to do #4 instead of making all 4 at once. (There also isn't quite enough room at the bar for a glutton. Haha.) ”
“ This place is so good! IYKYK! I stumbled upon this gem during the pandemic, and it has become my go-to ever since. Whether opting for takeout or dining in, this sushi spot consistently delivers excellence! The staff is friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance is chill, with dedicated sushi chefs chopping it up behind the bar. The freshness of the fish is excellent, the flavors of the rolls stand out. Their extensive menu offers a wide variety of rolls, nigiri/sashimi, and so much more. During my visit, I opted for the Maguro Nigiri and the Jessica roll, while my father went for a bento box. Every dish was on point. TGISushis never fails me. It's the perfect spot for both lunch and dinner. It should be called Thank goodness i found you Sushi! ”
“ I'm a fan of this sushi spot. Very nice employees, great service, really clean- and their raw fish was amazing. They have specials on uni, Toro, and other rolls, but the raw fish makes this place shine! Great selection of fruity soju, too! ”
“ This spot popped on my radar right before they were shutdown by a fire, after patiently waiting (checking often to see if they were open yet) they finally reopened and I was able to indulge. I've gone twice now, the first time I called in for takeout, and the second I went in and ordered takeout. I liked what I got both times, but was thoroughly impressed by my most recent order. On my last visit I got the sushi combo, which I LOVED. This was 6 pieces of nigiri with choice of 1 of 3 rolls. The fish was super fresh and has been in everything I've tried. I was also surprised to find it came with a salad and miso soup! Not sure what all the fish in the nigiri were, but I was pleasantly surprised to have really enjoyed each one. I wish I knew what they all were, because I want to start ordering them everywhere I go! The Campbell roll and Crazy Chris roll are great, I'd definitely order each of these again. I liked the spicy tuna roll, though a little too spicy for me. The Tekka Maki was also good if you're looking for something lighter. Both times I've gone in the service has been friendly and quick, even if the restaurant is busy. It's a fairly small space so it can get loud, but I'm excited to come back and eventually dine in. ”
“ 05/28/23 - TGI's Sushi Awesome sushi spot! We sat at the bar and the chefs were super friendly. The food was delicious and the fish was fresh. It's definitely a smaller restaurant, parking area is on the smaller side. Definitely would go back. ”
